Reviews for Coverking Front Seat Covers with Rear Cover for 97-02 Jeep Wrangler TJ
These seat covers fit like a glove and was very easy to install.
They're OK, price is good, stitching and material is holding up. The colors fade really bad black turns grey and grey turns blue. Really hot and sweaty in the summer. Cheaper than new seats. Nylon canvas would be better.
Bought these for sons Jeep in beginning of May 2015, by the end of first summer the tan had faded considerably. Over the first winter the material began flaking and within 18months covers were dry rotted and worn through on points where friction occurred (seat, back). Very disappointed in durability with normal wear considering the price. will probably opt for a more durable canvas next time.
They looked great when first installed, few months of sun with the top down and now my bright red seats are not red! My fellow Jeepers say they love my "pink" seats. Even the black has seriously faded. Very poor UV protection in the fabric!
Seat covers were delivered on-time and as detailed in the description. They were easy to install, fit snug to the seat, and looked fantastic. My problem with them is the amount of time they last. After a little over a year, the black has turned gray, the external fabric began separating from the neoprene material, and the stitching began to loosen. Spilled drinks (soda) stain the covers). If your expectation is to only have them a year, you will be very pleased. There is a warranty; however, the warranty just happens to be one year. If your expectation is for them to last a couple years, you may be disappointed.
This one item does not change my opinion of Quadratec... have had good experiences with everything else I've purchased.
For the most part the neoprene covers fit well and look great, but having a zipper on the front seat back is absolutely ignorant. When we were trying to install them, the zipper came lose and won't stay zipped up, not allowing a snug fit. Then the zipper came apart trying to zip it back up and now we have safety pins holding it together. Without the zipper issue they are a solid 4-star rating.
