I have a 2013 2 door Jeep Wrangler JK on which I have just installed a Bestop Jeep/Trektop Glide, Wrangler '07-'18 Twill (5442217). Please confirm that the 31700 Overhead Storage Console will be compatible with both the Jeep and new top.
Unfortunately, the VDP 31700 Overhead Storage Console is not compatible with your 2013 JK when paired with the Bestop Trektop Glide. While the console physically fits the 2013 Jeep JK's roll bar, there is a major conflict with how the Trektop Glide operates.
Will this fit if I replaced the hard top with a Best top. Thanks

No. For ’87-’06 Wrangler YJ & TJ models, install the Console at least 5” away from the windshield frame’s interior edge to allow complete operation of sun-visors and top latches. Thanks for your inquiry.
Are the two storage boxes connected in the middle to accommodate a long item such as a two piece fishing rod.
They are separate compartments no pass through between them.

Does this work with a 2011 jk with the freedom top?
Yes, however for JK hardtop applications, it is necessary to temporarily remove the Freedom Panels to install the Overhead Console.
