Was longer than mine, but cut it back re-bent it and worked out fine

Seems like a good quality handle. However, it doesn't fit my CJ8 Scrambler. The handles are too long and the attachment screws provided are not large enough. In addition, the mounting holes are large enough for the mounting screws provided, but not large enough for the original screws.

Does not fit 1983 CJ7. Not even close. Do not buy.
