I can confirm the back metal piece is fragile. Just a small amount of melted plastic holds it on. The price is right from a reputable OE parts company and works as it should.

It worked until I pulled the wire off to remove the doors. Then the metal connector came off. I heated the plastic part of the switch up and re installed the connector.
