Smooth out the ride with 4 0r 6 Leafs? Which is recommended to smooth out the ride?

For a smoother ride, 4-leaf springs generally provide a softer and more comfortable experience compared to 6-leaf springs, which are typically stiffer and better suited for heavy loads.

Are these stock size leaf springs

What is the part number for bushings for these leaf springs?

You will need 1 of #18271.21 and 2 of #18272.02 for each spring. They are also shown on the right side of the screen under the "Our Experts Recommend"

How can i tell the difference between a standard duty and heavy duty rear leaf spring for my YJ. does the heavy duty have more leaves etc?
Thanks

The leaf count could be the same. Sometimes it is just the thickness of the steel used to make the individual leafs. If the springs are still original the best way to tell if the numbers are worn off is a VIN search

How do I tell if my yj has regular or heavy duty leaf springs
My jeep is 89 Sahara 6 cyl auto soft top with a/c
Thanks
Geoff

A VIN check would establish exactly what is on your Jeep. Usually the heavy duty springs were used on Jeeps with factory hardtops and or factory tow package upgrade.
