Reviews for Quadratec Premium 2" Receiver Hitch with Wiring Kit and Hitch Plug for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
Seems to be quality construction and very easy to install
This was a good buy, easy to install, would recommend this to anyone looking for a hitch.
I Purchased this item after checking out the installation. Everything is exactly like they say. All fitting line up with existing mounting points. Wiring to the lights could not be made any simpler they this. The hole install from beginning to end was less then 20 minutes. Looks great!
Easy install! well worth the money. Significantly cheaper.
Easy install. Great look. Install video on YouTube handles it all.
Fantastic.
excellent product and easy to install
Prior to buying, I watched a couple YouTube videos, and I saw the installation was easy. In the videos, they dropped the muffler to put the bolts through, but I didn't do that. I agree with Shaun Q's review on 10/6/2016; I was able to secure the hitch by going between the muffler and heat shield. The installation took less than 30 minutes. Great product.
Great hitch. 30 minute install, Instruction manual came with clear color pictures and easy to understand instructions. There is no reason to drop your muffler simply line up the bolt holes and use a small hammer to pull/tap the bolts into the hole. Only tighten the bolts after all four bolts are in their perspective holes. This was my first order but it has definitely made me a fan of Quadratec
Installation was an extremely easy task, and was literally done in less than 15 minutes. The longest part of the install was thinking about how to route the harness down through the body to the frame rail. Quadratec's harness has the push-in Christmas Tree locks in the perfect locations to snap the harness into the factory holes. Contrary to a previous mention, it is NOT required to mess with the exhaust at all for any reason. The bolts that Quadratec supplies need to be fed above the muffler, but BELOW the heat shield on top of the muffler. Then the bolts will slide right in with no problem. Tap the hitch around with a soft faced mallet to line up the holes a little and tighten down. Super easy install, a grandma could do it.
