Love this bumper. Very stout and can handle some real use. We use the 2" receiver for a shackle for recovery.
As far as install goes, it was really simple. Everything lined up as it should on our TJ. As expected, there is a little bit of drilling, just 2 holes on the passenger side, as opposed to the 4 in the original instructions... It looks like maybe Quadratec improved the design a bit since the instructions were printed, so that was a pleasant surprise to not have to do more drilling. Overall a great product - very happy with it.

Not a great fit; like the look but will take excessive work to make it fit.

Instructions are not correct. Mounted bumper to my 95 YJ and counter to the instructions the bumperette holes do not line up to the ones on the bumper. They are about 2" off. Due to this, the frame does require drilling similar to later model years.

The only problem is that after I snugged the bumper up to the frame with the initial two bolts so I can mark the new hole locations, the bumper was mounted so tight that the bolts would not come off so remove the bumper to can drill the holes. I was able to drill one interior bolt on each side with an extra long drill bit, but the top interior hole location is unreachable with the bumper on.

Ended up mounting the bumper with three bolts on each side. Hopefully it is strong enough.
