I noticed that brackets fit on over or through the two rear window hinges. Question is can the rear window be raised once the roof rack is installed?

Yes, the brackets mount to the upper portion of the brackets (the part bolted to the hardtop). This will still allow normal rear liftgate glass function on the JK's.

What is the weight rating for this rack?
You will want to consult your owners manual to confirm that safe weight load rating however Chrysler does not approve any additional weight being carried on the JK’s roof, and customers should exercise extreme caution when driving with a load of any size on the roof.

Own a 2016 jeep wrangler unlimited. Does not have roof racks. Would like this product but what extra would I need-brackets, racks, etc. to complete.
Sure thing. To install this rack on your factory hardtop, you would just need part # 72057.1323 (install brackets) and you would be all set.
