Having a harness with plastic clips already attached in the right spots is a neat idea. But only if the attachment spots are right to begin with. Also, it is great when the electrical harness provides reliable electrical connectivity (this one doesn't).

Unfortunately, the harness I've received had one of the clips out of place, contributing to a significant (and uncomfortable) sag of the cable/protector sheath. As I thought "no problem, let's adjust the placement" and moved to extract the clips already firmly seated in the factory holes, it quickly became apparent that the clips won't stand to that treatment and all have broken off at the head.

"Frustration free", eh? More like "frustration-inducing". I can believe the wrong clip placement point is a manufacturing defect, or maybe it does fit some variants of JKs, no idea. But flimsy clips is not a defect, it is by design.

The second problem is one of the pins in the male connector is missing. Not sure if it came that way from the factory, or broken off as I disconnected and removed the harness. This is just very low quality bordering on the extreme.

Without the pre-attached clips gimmick, this harness is the same as a $19 generic from Amazon. With no reliable electrical connection this harness is useless, though. Maybe if you are lucky to install it in one go and never have to remove it for any reason, it is worth a try. Otherwise, look for a higher quality item (or save a few dollars by going with a generic from Amazon).

Easy to install however 1 year later I go to use it and it is completely corroded and ruined. Now I get to buy another one.
