Will my oem front flasher work correctly with this tail light mod
Hello! Because LEDs draw significantly less electrical current than traditional incandescent bulbs, your original mechanical thermal flasher will typically cause hyper-flashing or failure to cycle properly. However, the Quadratec LED Tail Light Kit for 76-80 Jeep CJ-5 & CJ-7 includes a new electronic signal flasher module specifically designed for LED compatibility to ensure flawless turn signal operation right out of the box.
My connections are different and will not simply plug in to the new LED light connection. Do you have a wiring diagrahm that i can use to determine which wire connects to what harness wire?
Sorry, a diagram for alternate wiring without the plug is not offered. We do carry an application for 81-86 models too, that may have the style plug you are after. Other CJ plug Style 81-86
do they have reverse lamps?
Yes, they include reverse lights. Thanks for your inquiry.
Are resistors needed when using these?
These tail lights include a new signal flasher module which act as a resistor.
