Reviews for QuadraTop Premium Sailcloth Replacement Soft Top in Black Diamond for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JK 4 Door
I installed this top back on June 12, so just under a month ago as I type this on July 9, 2025. I wanted to wait to review it until after I took it on a 650-mile trip to the beach with an interstate cruising speed of 70-75 MPH. I am very pleased with the quality of this top. It replaced the eleven-year-old original factory top on my ‘14 Wrangler Unlimited. Road noise was practically nonexistent, and I was actually struck on the drive down because I realized that I *wasn’t* hearing any buffeting or vibrating.
Installation took about two/two-and-a-half hours. We used a combination of the print instructions that came with the top and the how-to video on YouTube (using both methods of instruction was much better than trying to use each one by itself). The top looks great and works just as it should. Very pleased with this purchase.
So far so good. I purchased this top to replace my aging original top on my 2013 JKU. Install was easy. Definitely take the tip to let the new top warm up in the sun for a couple hours before installing - it made the top very stretchy. I was particularly thankful for that when you get to the part of the install where you basically need to pull the rear corners down to the channel.
Instructions were mostly on point. There were minor details missing - but those details are intuitive - you can figure out which way to pull the top by looking at it.
Top quality seems great, and I love the different windows. While I was never particularly bothered by the distorted view of the original windows, it is a nicety to have these windows, which are much clearer.
My only gripe is the large "Quadratec" tag embedded in the driver's side rear window. Especially when same is embossed in the plastic window right above it. I'm all for branding, but the logo is a bit large and redundant. I'll remove it if I can figure out a way to do it without jacking up the window.
Beyond that - we'll see how it holds up, but for the money it seems like a no-brainer so far.
Wanting the best
2011 jku, installation wasnt terrible but directions could've been better. Especially when dealing with the spring. Other than that, it fit tight (as described) and seems to fit perfectly. The difference between old windows and these is amazing! So much more clear. It looks and feels premium. So happy with this purchase.

According to your decription (as have not received yet) looks like it is easy to replace
Good, solid replacement for an 11 year old OEM soft top. I recommend reading the instructions completely before jumping in. Installing the new top to the header is the most challenging part. You have to make sure the bead at the edge of the top remains in a channel as you screw in the header bracket. The instructions call for heavy masking tape. I finally went with duct tape, as the top kept slipping out of its place. The remainder of the installation was similar to just putting your top together normally. There was enough slack to make sure it could attach, but tight enough that it didn’t make abnormal noise at highway speeds. No leaks either.
Don’t hesitate.
Love it, better then the original, only issue I found was the pull string clips on the windows all fell apart. Nothing a drop of super glue can't fix.
Had this since august 2015, used it every year only to switch back to the hardtop for snowy weather. Used the same soft top on two jeeps with frequent uses and the rear window zipper finally broke. Soft top was great especially for the price, just sad it broke
Great replacement top, well worth the money. Just follow the installation video (step by step) and the install will go smoothly. The tinted windows look great and the sailcloth material is really nice as well. If your comparing tops in this price range you can't go wrong with this one. I gave it 5 out of 5 stars because for the price I couldn't see rating it lower.
