Just got these on and I am very happy with the look and function. I looked at the others that go through the hinge plate and they just did not look like they would stay put to me. I have not driven with these yet, but I cannot see these moving around in the wind, very solid. The only thing I might change is, I might paint them flat black.

Have some minor issues as others have stated (whistling, can move at high speeds, washers rust if left out in rain) but still giving 5 stars because they're all very minor.

I don't run doors All Summer Long, and these mirrors are impossible to do without.
