Reviews for Coverking Front & Rear Ballistic Nylon Seat Cover Combo for 13-18 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JK 4 Door with Seat Height Adjuster & Side Airbags
We put these in my hubby's 2015 Willys. They stand up to large dog toenails, and anything else he's tossed in there (to include hunting / shooting gear, tools, and various man cave project supplies). Would buy these again in a hot second.
I really like these seat covers. Very durable. My wife didn't care for them from a stylish point of view so she is going to try the neoprene covers. Real nice product.
Poor instructions for rear set of covers. Front fit including head rest is loose. Rear seat back zipper broke upon installation. Still waiting patiently to hear from Coverking support to ask for replacement. Not impressed!
Material is thinner than the neoprene which is what I was looking for(too hot for me).
The rear cover fit well, two separate sections(base/back), the head rests are sleeves only and do not attach/wrap around back onto itself(I'm sure design argument will be about movement of headrest with seat folding). One strap was not attached out of the package(needle and thread, easy enough), but the plastic buckles seem very cheap for the amount of tension they need to hold in order the get a tight fit(one did come unbuckled and was reattached with less tension).
The front covers are my problem. The fronts are one piece design and the fit is very poor. They are loose all around(only 2 straps-front/back and 2 elastic hooks-sides) and I am especially concerned with the sides on the seat base as even most non-lifted jeeps require some sliding on entry/exit of the vehicle. The cutout for the height adjustment is not accurate(not large enough to connect the Velcro to itself) and there is only one elastic cord/hook at the back of each side and so part of the side panel is never attached to anything(seat or cover). I believe any adjustment of seat(height/recline/track) will have the base of the cover moving all over and I'm sure the sides will be riding up(no additional attachments) anytime entering or exiting the vehicle. Front headrests do have Velcro and attach back onto itself.
Final impression: 90% of activity will be in the front seats and so rating is base on that(1 star if only had ordered front covers). The back seat cover will stay depending on durability/longevity, but I am already on a search for replacement front covers and will do so as soon as I can find them.
