How far down does the running board drop from the Jeep?
12 inches from the door sill to the step pad surface.

I have been thinking about these for a while but is there a way to trigger them to drop down and raise up other than opening and closing the doors? I like to remove the doors some times.

I have a 2013 Jeep Wrangler 2 door and need to replace the driver side motor on the step as it won’t come down. What motor can I purchase to replace it?

I’m sure they are activated by opening and closing the doors. What if you have the doors off? Will they still operate? If so, How?
