I used this accelerator cable on a 1980 Jeep CJ5 with a 258 I6 left hand drive as the description reads . It fit correctly on the intake manifold mounted throttle bracket and has the right cable length draw to keep the accelerator pedal from sitting too low on the floor and allowing full acceleration . The engine is out of a 1985 Jeep CJ7 but I believe any 258 I6 with the aluminum intake manifold. And throttle bracket ought to fit the same . If the cable length of your present accelerator cable seems too long and doesn’t allow full accelerator travel , try this cable , it worked for me .

This Crown cable (J5358677) is supposed to be 21.75" long overall. The cable I received in a sealed Crown bag with the correct part number is 24". Do not try to use the 24" cable in place of the 21.75" cable. It will not work...

I ordered this cable twice and both times the cable that was sent was 24" long. The Crown part number on the packing matches, but the cable is not 21.75" long as stated in the description.
