Quality seems ok, but not sure if I feel comfortable using these because they are so small in diameter that they don't appear to be much larger than the hole in the rim.

these locking lug nuts are of great quality and look awesome on my new AEV Pintlers. The added security a plus, however I do not feel comfortable with the small diameter of lug nut contacting the wheels much larger tapered lug nut mounting well. I will be replacing them.

The splines are not a unique pattern and are, therefore, not secure. If the pattern were unique, the socket would only go on the lug in one position. Mine went on anyway I placed it on the lug so the splines cannot be anything but perfectly uniform.
You cannot remove the lug without the splined socket, but a pro will have a splined socket and remove my wheels as easily as if I was using just lugs.
Also, the taper on these is much smaller/shallower than even the aftermarket lugs that came with my new wheels.
