Seeing several questions about using the upper skins included with this top with steel half doors. Will these upper sliders work with the existing steel half doors I have? Or, is there a better/cheaper option to get the top and then upper sliders for the steel doors? Thanks!
The Bestop Supertop Soft Top with Tinted Windows and 2-Piece Doors for 80-95 Jeep CJ-7 & Wrangler YJ (Bestop Part # 54603 for Spice, for example) includes its own two-piece soft doors. These soft doors consist of a lower fabric-covered frame and zip-out upper windows (sliders).
These upper sliders included with the Bestop Supertop are NOT designed to work with your existing steel half doors. They are specifically made to zip onto the lower soft doors that come with the Supertop kit. The shape, latching mechanism, and weather sealing are different between the Bestop soft lower doors and your factory steel half doors.
Regarding a better/cheaper option to get the top and upper sliders for your steel doors: Unfortunately, there isn't typically a "cheaper" option that involves buying this specific Bestop Supertop and then separately acquiring upper sliders designed to work with your steel half doors. Here's why:

I bought this kit for my 95yj a number of years ago, and the top is finally giving out. What are my replacement top options with the Bestop hardware that came with it? I'd prefer some less expensive options. Thanks!
Unfortunately, with Bestop Supertop proprietary hardware, only the Bestop replacement skin for Supertop will fit. Supertop replacement fabric kit. There is no other option that would be a correct fit. Sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks for your inquiry.

I have a '93 Wrangler with steel doors and hardtop. I want a soft top that has removeable windows and I'll need the necessary hardware to install. Id also like soft doors that I plan to leave on year round as I live in a warmer climate. I'd like uppers with sliding windows. Is all of this possible? If so, please recommend the products I need to order
This top is all season and fully convertible and comes with all of the hardware for the top. The upper doors with glass sliding windows are not compatible with the lower soft door from the 2 piece Supertop door kit. Upper door sliders need to be used with factory half steel doors. Their door pin insert alignment is not the same as the pegs on the upper doors with the 2 piece door. Thanks for your inquiry.

Does this kit include the 2 piece doors frame and skins or is it just the skins? I have 1 piece soft doors currently.
The doors this top come with are a complete 2 piece soft door where you can remove the upper door for added breeze. It will come complete with everything needed. Thanks for your inquiry.

The top listed says it fits cj7. I have a 1980cj7 renegade with factory soft top and fun soft doors. I have 2 questions. Does this top fit and will snaps line up with factory snap placements?
It will fit your Jeep and it's designed to close on a nader pin or door strike pin and plate assembly. If you body tub does not have a dot door strike you would need to add one. but the Bestop Supertop uses channels that mount to the top of your body tub and the snaps will be exposed. Can the top window part of the door fit the factory half doors?
Great question. No, in fact they cannot. The door pin alignment only allows the upper doors from this kit to be used with its own lower soft door. If you have factory half steel doors and a Supertop, you will need 11045.15 or 17 Thanks for your question.

Does this require the factory frame and spreaders, or is it included?
This comes with all required hardware and framework. Supertops do not use factory bows or spreader bars.

In regards to the best top complete kit with 2 pc doors. Do the doors come with anything? I.E. Hinges, strike plate and pin, door handle, etc?
Yes, the hinges, door handles (latches) and install hardware are included with the doors. You would reuse the factory steel latch pins that are on the Jeep already.
