I bought this in 2020 and installed it and have been happy with it’s performance for the past 3 years (approx 5k miles) but earlier today while I had my CJ5 in the shop working on the brakes the mechanic noticed the steering wheel starting to slip then completely slip. Turns out the upper “linkage” on the arm was slipping on the shaft where it’s been pressed together - turning the steering wheel had no effect on steering! The solution: we welded the linkage directly to the shaft of the steering arm so there’s no way for this to happen again.
