Easy to use, apply/install once I found the Loctite adhesive use instructions online. While the mirror & mount were removed I installed a sunstrip then razor blade the small cutout for the mirror bracket.

DO NOT PURCHASE FOR A 1998 XJ. THERE ARE NO INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO APPLY, THE PROVIDED BUTTON DOES NOT FIT THE STOCK MIRROR. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

Didn’t work! Mirror fell right off. Had to pick up diff brand at Auto Zone which worked fine.

Had to search the internet for the instructions which is actually a Loctite product. Then mirror fell off immediately.
