I painted mine and installed them on the front-most part of my Jeep. So far they have held up to all of the abuse of road debris. The guards and the lights they're protecting have outlived my windshield.

Like the look, just wish you didn’t need to take them off when using halogen daylighters....they will melt according to KC!
