Perfect antenna that will work anywhere off-roading. I also added the heavy duty spring and quick release and the spare tire attachment to complete the setup

Solid, well built antenna. Forgot to take it down a few times when entering parking garages only to be immediately reminded by that awful sound of "ouch" coming from above. Not a scratch on it and it didn't even lose it's tuning.

It’s definitely thinner and lighter than the older models but honestly that doesn’t matter much to me. I tuned it with a VNA and at best got the center frequency down to 1.3-1.5 SWR and the edges to 1.8-2.0. It’s CB so I don’t really care, but if this was for amateur radio I wouldn’t accept that. I use a tailgate hinge mount, you may have better results with a better ground/metal roof.
