This is a good part. 96 xj. I tried going with a cheapo but the idle was rough and it would even stall going from reverse to drive. I knew better but had to learn the hard way. This unit corrected it and has went strong for years with zero issues. Oddly when I tried to swap it to my 95zj it acted up, I've heard they have different voltages so might be worth double checking first but it also could have just been from age or wear.

Quality part.

My TPS went bad, had my mechanic replace it- he used a NAPA part. It worked about a month, then began to have issues. So, I bought this one from Crown- problem solved, plus it was about $50 cheaper than NAPA. Works so well, I even bought a spare for when it goes out again.

Now my jeep has all new sensors and runs great , again easy install no problems thanks Quadratec

Direct OE replacement, no issues with install, just make sure not to over tighten the screws

Not sure if I got a bad TPS but immediately after installing it my Jeep started sputtering and idling at 1500rpms. Check engine light came on. So I uninstalled and reinstalled it again to make sure I didnt do it wrong. Same results. Put my OEM tps back in and check engine light went away. Will be returning.

Installed this sensor 7 months ago and check engine light came on and bad idling. Had to replace with a new sensor.
