Plugs right into the two openings in the hood in about 10 seconds. Recommended.

So far so good - i bought these along with kentrol poly hood straps to tighten everything up. For whatever reason some JKs have these or not my 2015 had the holes under the hood but no bumpers. Seem well made and see no reason they will not last.
