This is a great product! This places the shift knob in my hand at the right height for me, so now I don't have to reach for the shift knob. I am 5'7" and to get my seat right for me the shifter knob was just an extra reach. The extention places the knob in a comfortable place for me

Easy install

Easy to install. Only complaint is the shiny hardware. Went to Lowe's and a black nut and washer.

Function for what I need. But the knobs would not screw on properly because the threads are too short

The idea is great but the product make is poor.
The threading on the inside is not threaded all the way to the top of the shaft. This causes the extension to not tighten down flush with the original shifter leaving a 1/4 gap.
The male threads for the knob need to be a 1/4 longer. Could barely get the threads to catch on the threads inside the knob. If you use ugly generic nut and washer it came with instead of original profiled securing nut it works better. But looks crude.

The overall length is perfect. Definitely improves comfort in shifting making shifting easier.

If they provided a nice looking locking nut and corrected the threading issues to fit better this would be a 100 percent great product.

Aluminum, not steel, which it needs to be to match shift rod.
Threads are correct pitch and size, but lengths are off, which leaves exposed small shank portion, which is weak link.......

The stud on top that the shift knob screws onto is too short and the threaded hole that screws onto the shifter is not deep enough. Plus it's aluminum not steel.
