Looks great, encased and rubber with plastic base so no paint to chip off unlike the other option in the catalogue. Comes with male adaptors for mounting. Reception is horrible on the 6 inch. I mean really bad. I live in a metro area and there are a couple stations that when scanning for them are not even picked up. Going to see if they will switch it out for the 9 inch. Any bigger and I may as well go back to the stock antenna. Very disappointed.

Adaptor screw was not long enough to attach antenna securely for my application - used thread lock on the 2 threads that made contact. We shall see how long it lasts. Otherwise reception seems good..

This is awful. It says that you can get great reception. I can not keep a station. So disappointed I wasted my money.

Had to return this item was only the antenna end and I needed the whole thing
