Fitment: Excellent. The speakers have three tabs that line up perfectly with the mounting holes in the overhead bar. The wiring that plugs into the factory speakers plugs into a pig tail on the new speakers.
Sound: Significantly better bass and highs than factory and can handle much more power. They seem to be lacking a little in the mid-range. Maybe supplement these with better quality all-around speakers in the doors.
Other: Do not bother with the kicker grills. While they might look cool, they only mount to the face of the speaker. The tabs and screws for mounting the speakers will remain exposed and detract from the looks. Stick with the factory grills.

okay, but pay attention to ohm ratings

Speakers: Great sound, far better then stock. Much better bass and no distortion at higher volume levels.

Rear Install: Very easy, total of 6 screws each. Directions say T-15 which works better for removal but they are really T-20 which works better for reinstall (or just use a magnetic Torx bit)

Front Install: Jeep made this far harder then it needs to be, the exact opposite of the ease of the rear.

These sounded awesome out of the box and were very easy to install. A month later however and both speakers are buzzing pretty badly with heavy bass. Volume on the factory radio is set to about 20-22 and the buzzing is very annoying.

At first I was pleased with these - better than stock but still not great - about as good as you can expect for just plugging something into the stock system. Doesn't really carry much base, the magnets (while larger than stock) just aren't up to perform.

2.5 years later, one of the speakers is blown. At $160/pr I would expect a bit more longevity, especially considering that these were built as specific replacements for the stock speakers.

Time to buy a different pair.

These speakers are NOT an upgrade over my stock 9 speaker Alpine system. The magnet is half the size and nowhere near the sound quality. I’m pulling them out and going with something better. Very disappointed.

If I could give 0 stars I would! For $180 dollars these are a waste of money! I will be returning ASAP. Sound quality is same as my 2012 sound system. Very very disappointed.

Complete and utter garbage. Vibrated on install. Figured it was something in the speaker box like the connector so took out an reinstalled. No difference. Too lazy to take out again and re-install the originals then return. These speakers are much worse than OEM. Now I'm going to buy the Alpine and try again.

Sounded good untill one started rattleing and i took it out to find a plastic piece broken. CHEAPLY MADE. Very cheaply made
