You can expect a similar seating height with the Rugged Ridge 13401.01 seats compared to your factory ones, especially if no adapters are required for your vehicle.

I have an '83 CJ7 Laredo -- the front drivers seat does not have a "slider", what is the install process? The passenger side seat is also needed but floor frame looks different.
Drilling may be necessary without use of OE seat slider for 76-95 Models. Thanks for your inquiry.
