As a nuclear plant professional, I’ll second what another review has said:
The old version of this (Halon) is used to protect the nuclear safety related electrical components at nuclear power plants. As soon as it’s depressurized, it turns to gas and does not harm sensitive components.
If you’re looking for something to protect your jeep incase of a fire and not harm it with chemical spray in the process, this is absolutely it.

I can only review the product based on the aesthetic since I haven't needed to use it (and hopefully never will need to).

Working at a Nuclear Plant for years, I'm well aware of the advantages of Halon Fire Extinguishers. The HalGuard Extinguisher contains Halotron, which is an electrically non-conductive "clean" extinguishing agent that rapidly turns into a gas.

Advantages: No thermal shock to electronics; No mess/damage to vehicles; Liquefied gas extinguishes hard-to-reach fires; Doesn't impair the operator's vision.

Great to have in the Jeep at all times. This is a relatively small extinguisher, and we purchased a different type as a backup in case we need more.

Nice fire extinguisher, just purchased it, haven’t used it, but it seems very well built. It fits nicely in front of the drivers seat of my Jeep.

Nothing has caught fire yet, so I can’t give it a functional rating. It’s really hard to rate a fire extinguisher unless you intentionally torch your car. But, the extinguisher arrived fully charged and in good condition. So, that defaults to 4 stars in my book.

Great product that I’m sure works as good as it looks but for the money I would have thought it wouldn’t be a rattle can of a handle in the Jeep. I’ll have to rig up a solution for that before I lose my mind and toss it.
