Reviews for Diver Down Front and Rear Neoprene Seat Covers for 97-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ
I have only had these seat covers for about one year and the have faded, and are completely deteriorated. The Neoprene has broken down and is now just dust. Is there anything that can be done.
Put these in my daughters 01 TJ for a jeep we gave her on her 16th birthday. That was on July 31st, 2018. Here it is March 2019 and the seat covers are faded. Shes only had the top off once. And the foam on the inside is tearing. The covering is separating from the foam. I would spend your money are Bartacts. These don't hold up well at all. Not sure if they are covered by warranty or not.
Thought they would be a good solution but they were not. The fitment and install were quick and easy. They started to show fading after a few months and by the end of summer were badly faded. The driver seat is falling apart the seams are pulling apart and the material has separated from the neoprene. These are fine covers for one summer but I had hoped for more than that.
These covers look good at first, but aren't good in the long run. I bought the "charcoal" color, expecting a dark grey... they came looking almost blue. After just one year of normal use the color has faded on the back set where sun lite comes through the back window, one strap broke, one buckle broke, and they still don't fit tight to the backrest. These things are way too hot as well. In the summer I can't drive more than 15 minutes without getting massive sweat stains on my shorts. I'm currently using my seats without any cover on them until I can find a better alternative. Save your money and buy something else or nothing at all.
As others have said, these fade quickly, color is gone after a summer and they don’t fit that great either. Avoid these and look elsewhere.
These covers are a complete waste of money. They look and feel fantastic at first, but like another reviewer said, they fade fast and look worse than the factory seats once they are exposed to sunlight. Less than a week of sunlight with the top off and my back seat covers that were origionally black faded to a horrible whiteish purple grey ugliness. So, unless you only drive at night and keep your jeep in a garage during the day, keep searching and pass these up!
They fit well enough, but after less than a month on the Jeep (only 2 weeks of which have seen the top off) they are completely sun faded and browning out. They looked great at first, but look like crap now. I live in western Oregon, so it's not like I'm exposing them to the desert sun... If I could go back, I certainly would not have purchased these. Very disappointed.
Seat covers did fit good and looked good. However, I ordered the red center and black outer. They have been installed on my jeep for about 6 weeks and most of the red has faded really badly and they look bad now. I don't feel they were worth the money to only be useful for a month. I definitely can't recommend for that reason.
