Reviews for Quadratec Maximum Duty Nitro 8.0 Shock Kit for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK

Had to replace the rears on my 2016 JKU-HR because one rusted and the other began leaking. Decided to replace all four with Nitros as they were an upgrade from stock and the vehicle has 130k miles. Just came back from some geology fieldwork in Utah and these shocks did not disappoint; definitely felt more "planted" on rocky trails. The on-road manners have greatly improved as well. Very happy with this upgrade.

The price and the rating, I'll let you know if it holds up to Tundra weather.

They are great but really stiff!

My orginal Rubicon Hard Rock shocks lasted a long while. I did not even realize how bad they were until my mechanic replaced them with these.

My jeep is tracking correctly and the usual "Wandering Wrangler" is much better at staying on track.

For some reason, the Jeep appears to be a bit taller, and mine is not lifted.

The ride is stable, and confidence producing while driving at speed.

My jeep has been very sloshy since I bought it. Got these shocks and it's like night and day when driving. While on the highway it doesn't feel like it's jump a lane when you hit a bump.. very impressed with these so far. Would definately recommend them. I like that the sticker was left off cause I painted them to match my jeep color too.

Nice and tight shocks. Absorbs bumps and dips smooth and quick. Did light off roading in these with the Jeep weighted down. Performed very well.
