I live in Dubai and I go dune bashing every weekend. Do you recommend putting a snorkel in desert/sandy condition to improve fresh airflow? Do you think it will help with air intake...thx
A snorkel is best used in dry sandy conditions like you experience. Raising the level of the intake helps to keep the dust and sand from getting into intake and engine. It will not really improve flow rate due to the extra length, but it will prolong the life of the engine and drive train.
