Are these a drop step? Need something that drops down for my wife to get in. If not, can you recommend some drop steps?

While these side steps will make it easier to get into your Jeep Wrangler, they are not designed to significantly lower the step-in height like a dedicated "drop step" that extends further downwards. If you need a lower step for easier access, you would need to look for side steps specifically marketed as "drop steps" or "nerf bars with drop steps."

I have a 2022 Wrangler Willys 3.0 Diesel with standard rock rails. Do these steps replace the factory rock rails or are they installed on top of or with the original rails? (probably a dumb question but I don't want to lose protection). Thanks
You will need to remove the factory rock rails in order to install steps.

Yes they will, that is a 2024 JL the 4xe does not change the fitment.

Willy's models have rock rails that would require removal prior to install of the production steps. They are bolt on once the rock rails have been removed. Thanks for your inquiry.

No unfortunately the brackets are not serviceable by themselves. They are part of the step assembly.

Will these fit a 2020 4dr Rubicon?
They will fit if you remove the factory installed Rubicon Rock Rails. Unfortunately there are no steps that work in conjunction with the factory rock rails
