Will this work on a 22 Gladiator Willie’s?

I have a 2022 Wrangler Willys 3.0 Diesel with standard rock rails. Do these steps replace the factory rock rails or are they installed on top of or with the original rails? (probably a dumb question but I don't want to lose protection). Thanks
You will need to remove the factory rock rails in order to install steps.
