It says you have to remove the factory rock rails to put these on. Once they are on, do they work as rock rails as well as the step?

We just got a Jeep Wrangler S 2-dr. That's not specifically mentioned in the fitment. Will these fit our vehicle?
As long as the Jeep is a 2018-2024 Jeep JL 2 door, they will fit.

i took these side steps (part# 82215145) off my jeep 2018 2 door JL and tried to install these on my 2021 jeep wrangler willys sport but it seems like the precut holes are being used for the rock guard that came factory installed? do i need to remove the rock guard or are there other side steps that will work with keeping the rock guard in place..on mopar website there are side steps part# 82215145ab. i was wondering if there is a difference? i looked at both instruciton and they seem the same...thanks
