Works as advertised. Along with the tailgate reinforcement kit, I have had zero problems with my tailgate after putting 35s on my stock rubicon wheels

I have a 37" tire on a 17" wheel and this cannot handle the weight. The dealership recommended this for the jeep and it was an awful recommendation. The door is now too heavy for the hinges and the latch is scraping off the paint.
