I did a comparison test of the my stock antenna to the new stubby one I received. I compared 10 stations - some near and some far away that came in with static to begin with. The stubby antenna brought in all the close stations but some with a little static. It also brought in the far stations but some had more static and one did not come in at all. Given that the antenna is much shorter than the stock antenna, I thought it performed well. It is a thick antenna and seems well made. I wanted an antenna that would not interfere with my Jeep cover and this did the trick. I do not feel that I lost any reception given its size. It is a well made product!

Is NOT Car Wash Proof. Bent over first time thru.

Too stiff, already broke it.

Looks fantastic. Terrible reception even after cranking it down.

It may be a great stubby antennae.

But I need the entire mounting assembly too.

I am very unhappy with the antenna. Most stations are fuzzy. I think a hanger can have better reception!
