I watched the video twice through and the project was pretty easy. The locking Mopar cap is the good quality you'd expect. Two little hints: I decided I was going to be the clever guy and use my expensive Dumont watchmaker's tweezers to manipulate the little springs. Guess what? Not good. The tweezer tips are a little too fine and the springs were jumping all over the place. With a little practice and a delicate touch using your fingers works just fine to place the springs. Also once in a while you'll check a pin in the cylinder and it's very close to flush on one side but NOT the correct one. If you check both sides of the cylinder it becomes pretty obvious when you have the correct pin. It will be seated smack in the middle of the cylinder.

Was very easy to set the tumbler (just watched the installation video). I recommend laying out the parts in an organized manner, and review each step before proceeding. Worked like a charm!

Using this video, I had the lock keyed and on my Jeep in about 35 minutes with zero stress.

GREAT PROCUCT!!! Definitely worth the investment. I was very intimidated to key this myself - so may small parts and tedious installation. However, if you watch the Quadratec video and follow the instructions EXACTLY - you will have no problem. I watched the video before I started, then watched it again as I worked. Took about 45 minutes. Super pleased with this add on! :)

Watch the video on how to set up your key! That being said, it isn't a difficult process; just pay attention to the details. I had no problems with setting up my key and it works great! Will it keep everyone out of your gas tank? Probably not a dedicated thief; but it certainly makes you a less attractive target.

Decided I wanted a locking gas cap but didn't want to carry any additional keys. This OEM locking gas cap was the answer. Very easy to set up due to the video that is provided for the product. I watched it twice to make sure I didn't miss anything the first time as my kids sometimes distract me. I laid everything out as demonstrated in the video and worked along with the presenter. Very easy process and was able to set it up to work for my OEM key perfectly. As a person that doesn't consider herself mechanically inclined, I was able to complete this project with ease. I am very happy with the product.

took a while to figure the proper opening of the cap, it works great...(the dealer charged me to rekey the cap as it cost me!)

Watch the video! It's not a hard assembly if you are at all handy and follow the instructions.

First of all Watch the Installation video! Setting this lock to fir your vehicle key is not difficult if you take your time and follow the step by step instructions outlined in the video. I took my time and double checked everything and it took me maybe 30-40 minutes. The locking gas cap is working flawlessly.
