I am happy with these and glad that there are alternatives to the brass bushings. The removal tool is worth the price alone but removing the old ones is 4-5hrs of work on a 4dr. Try a ball joint press over a hammer. May save you some paint. If not lots of cardboard AND some touch up paint. I beat that tool to a rounded head it took so much hammering.

These may work alright on the original hinges, but I can say they are NOT working with a set of replacement hinges that I purchased to replace the original hinges. The hole in the hinges must be just enough smaller to make these inserts bind on the hinge posts. I could not put my doors back on with the plastics in place.
Now have a mismatch of inserts and doors that are not easy to remove and put back on as they were with the original hinges and a derlin insert kit.

Be warned these don’t fit early (2008) JK hinges, despite filing and cleaning out hinge sleeve.
