Description
The Rock Basher Cat Back Exhaust System from aFe Power has been specifically designed for the off roader in mind. This complete system for the Wrangler JL 4 Door improves clearance over any terrain that can be encountered on an off road adventure. The 100% mandrel bent tubing out performs and outflows the stock exhaust and can deliver gains of up to 9 horsepower and 8 ft lbs of torque. The free flowing stainless steel muffler delivers not only the increased power, but a powerful aggressive sound. The Rock Basher Exhaust features a uniquely designed pre-axle turn down that is made to handle off road obstacles. The exhaust seems well made except for the cat side, where the pipe is supposed to widen so it fits over the stock pipe section after the cats but it is the same exact diameter so it does not fit. I had to take it to an exhaust shop and it is not "stretchable" so they had to cut that section and weld on a custom-made part, defeating the whole purpose of buying a "plug and play" exhaust. Whatever they welded on had to be mandrel bent and it caused overheating so I took it back and they redid it, is now fine. A hassle. Not recommended until they fix this issue. If that issue is fixed, I would give it 5 stars because it sounds awesome and provides excellent clearance, especially when the jeep articulates.
