Instructions were clear and simple. Had to reinstall the front door rail and rear door frame since these are required for installation of the top. Was hoping to not have these installed since I was going to remove the doors.
Questions
The short answer is that while these parts are designed for the same 2018–2026 Wrangler JL Unlimited (4-Door), they do not "bolt together" in a traditional sense. Instead, they work as a complementary summer top system:
Bestop Cable Style Bikini Top: This covers the front and rear seats (roof area). It uses a cable system to stay tight and requires factory-style door surrounds for proper tension and sealing along the sides.
MasterTop Part #14450624 (Quadratec #11022-9524): This is the Ultimate Summer Soft Top Combo, which includes a Wind Stopper Plus (the vertical curtain behind the rear seats) and a Tonneau Cover (which covers the rear cargo area).
Key Considerations Door Surrounds: Both the Bestop Bikini Top and the MasterTop Wind Stopper require factory or factory-style door surrounds to function. If you currently have a hardtop and no soft top hardware, you will need to purchase door surrounds separately to use this entire setup.
Tailgate Bar: The MasterTop Tonneau cover requires a factory tailgate bar and clips to secure the rear edge near the spare tire.
Weather Protection: Using these together will enclose your Jeep significantly more than just a bikini top, but it is not waterproof. You will still experience some water entry at the corners and gaps where the different components meet.
