What You Need for Proper Fitment:
Windshield Channel: A no-drill front windshield header channel is required to anchor the front of the top. (Note: If your Gladiator came with a hardtop and never had a factory soft top header channel, you must purchase a compatible channel adapter/part like Bestop Part #51244-01 or the specific header assembly).
Door Surrounds: Factory-style upper door surrounds are required to properly secure the cable-style sides and prevent flapping at highway speeds.
Even though the physical windshield frame and sport bar layout on 2020–2025/2026 Gladiators are identical, automated fitment checkers on parts websites sometimes flag hardtop-equipped trucks as incompatible with certain soft-top accessories because the vehicle originally rolled off the assembly line with a factory hardtop rather than soft-top hardware provisions.
You can run a bikini top on a hardtop model, but keep in mind that header-style and cable-style bikini tops require separate factory-style soft-top door surrounds and a front windshield channel to properly anchor the top, since hardtops use completely different mounting points. You will need to purchase a couple of additional items, so this will not be a complete kit for someone with a hardtop.
