Bestop SunScreen Reviews
This is one of the easiest mods I've done on my rig. 15 minutes. Really, it's 8 bolts. I love the product. It keeps the Colorado sun off my dome.
Really nice sunscreen.i agree bolts are to short to put washer and lock washer on.i left off washer and just put lock washer on. Seem to work ok,
Great product, provides shade while still have the open air feel of the open Sunrider. Also modded another one for the Trektop on my Rubicon 392. Simply enlarge the rear bracket holes and align with upper front hard top holes and reuse the upper hard top bolts. Shade extends plenty far for this alternative placement.
Questions
Why it doesn't fit
The primary reason for the compatibility conflict on the 2025 Gladiator (and the 2024–2025 Wrangler) is the addition of side-curtain airbags in the roll bars.
Roll Bar Thickness: To accommodate these airbags, the roll bars are significantly thicker and have a different profile than the 2020–2023 models.
Mounting Interference: The SunScreen brackets are engineered for the older, slimmer roll bar dimensions. Attempting to mount them can interfere with the proper deployment of the safety airbags or simply fail to bolt on securely.
Manufacturer Confirmation: While some retailers may show 2025 in their search titles, Bestop’s official technical specifications still cap compatibility at the 2024 model year for the Gladiator.
