Body Armor Front Full Width Winch Bumper Reviews
The tiny allen screws for the fog lights were difficult to install with many of them stripping. Ended up using the hex bolts from inside the stock bumper instead of the allen screws and they worked great. In the end, the bumper wouldn’t fit on my Jeep. The bolts were an 1” below the frame holes with the ends of the bumper an inch above the fender flares. The figment section on Quadratec states no modifications needed for my 2018 JLU. After researching the manufacturers website I figured out the full width version only works on a rubicon. I have a Sahara and the fender flares are lower than a rubicon, thus my issue. Returned for the stubby version and pleased with the look.
Love this bumper. Put it on my Gladiator(JT) Sport S. Instructions are clear, took me about 3 hours to install. longest part is removing the OEM fog lights and transferring them to the new bumper. You really need a second set of hands to line up the bolts. I had the most trouble here. Note the the fitment is very tight on the JT Sport Fenders. Which makes getting the bolts aligned tricky, even with help. It will not have a small gap like illustrated. We removed the front fender screw holding screw holding the the body. That gave just enough give to bolt it in. It fits completely flush to the stock fenders this way. Which is what I wanted. Only adds 50 lbs to stock bumper without the wince as well. Will post pictures later.
