BOLT Hood Lock Reviews
Easy install and works great! Very convenient to have it key to the jeeps key so no need to carry around extra keys.
AFAIC this is a must have mod. I had a hard time with the supplied rivets. I have a HF heavy duty rivet tool and it was still hard because the vehicle height made it hard to get good leverage. I switched to the HF 1/4” rivets, which are much easier to install.

1. Intercooler Obstruction (EcoDiesel Specific)
The EcoDiesel engine features a large intercooler located directly behind the center of the grille. In many cases, the physical body of the BOLT lock or its mounting bracket can interfere with the intercooler's housing or piping.
Note: While some owners have successfully installed it by slightly bending the mounting tabs or adding spacers, it is not a "drop-in" fit like it is on the standard 3.6L or 2.0L gas engines.
2. Front Trail Camera Conflict
If your 2021 Jeep is equipped with the Front Facing Trail Camera, this lock is not compatible. The camera is mounted in the exact center slot of the grille where the BOLT lock needs to reside.
Check Your Grille: If you see a camera lens in the middle of your "seven-slot" grille, you cannot use this center-mounted lock system.
