insulating properties protect occupants from blazing hot and ice cold temperatures. Boom Mat has been tested to reduce noise levels down to
3 or 4 decibels to improve overall interior acoustics so occupants can enjoy the audio system and conversations without excessive and irritating road noise. Kits are available for both 4 door and 2 door JK hardtop models. Does not fit 2018+ Jeep Wrangler JL.

Is there a big difference between black boom mat and leather boom mat?
In terms of insulation no. It is only an aesthetic difference for those who would like match leather seats and interior.

Do you recommend installing a Butyl Automotive Sound Deadener underneath the boom mat?
No. The Boom Mat is designed for just that purpose. Also it may effect the adhesion of the Boom Mat Liner.
