I would say these are not a level 2 to install...more like level 1. I had these on in about an hr. It came w super easy instructions to follow. There is one minor mistake that anothr customer commented on, on of the bolt studs need either to be cut in half or the actual step is a 2 piece and you can just take it apart to get it installed on the brackets...I'll point to the bolt that can be cut to make installation easier or take 2 piece step apart...either way works
Love the look. Aggressive but sleek. Width is the main reason I got them. Decided I wanted a look different from tubes and wider. Installation was ok. Agree that getting the brackets through the mounting holes was a pain. They actually have to be angled and tilted slightly sideways to fit. I still managed to do it on my own. After you get each bracket through, screw on the two nuts just a tiny bit so they don't pop out when you do the others.
