Description
The Crown Automotive Windshield Frame for the Wrangler YJ is a direct replacement for the factory frame. Made to the original Jeep design and fitment, this sturdy replacement fits original windshield glass. seals and hardware. Pre-punched holes for the wiper system and weld nuts in place inside for the upper hinges. Fresh steel at the top to tap into for both the soft top channel outside or the hardtop inside. Black primer coat has been applied at the factory to reduce prep time, but some minor work may still need to be done prior to painting and assembly. Great time to replace the cowl seal under the frame while its off.

Minor touchups before painting but works great perfect fit

Over all, it's what I would expect for aftermarket. The frame came with a couple of small dings, one corner bent and primer flaking off, a spot weld on the rib at the lower front, one of the nut plates for the hinge bolts is floating free (might actually help with alignment) and some small weld splatters that will have to be ground off. After stripping and a little filler, it should be good to paint and install.
