The stock one has a little rubber gasket on it but the aftermarket one doesn't, but no problems great product. Recommended

The white paint on the side were the bulb goes that directs the light down over the licence plate flaked off right out of the box. Seems kind of pricey for a piece of plastic. There is no lamp or bulb or anything that comes with it, just the piece of plastic.
