Description
The Crown Automotive Dana 30 Standard Differential is the perfect replacement for the non-locking open unit found in the front of the Wrangler JL. This differential carrier can accommodate the factory gear ratio of 3.45 and those numerically lower. If you are in the market for stronger gears for larger tires then you will need to change the carrier to one that accepts gear ratios 3.73 and higher.

Does the carrier come preassembled?
The Crown Automotive Differential Case Assembly does not come fully assembled. While the case includes the internal spider gears, side gears, and cross shaft, bearings, races, and shims are sold separately and must be pressed on during setup.
I have a 2018 JL Sport S with a Rear anti-spin DANA 44, does my Wrangler still have a front DANA 30 with 3.45s?
Usually yes if you have the gas engine, but the only way to tell 100% is by running your VIN
