What screws would you recommend using with these to fasten a license plate bracket
You need an odd size that is made for the auto industry. In most cases the bolts are long ( 30 to 50 mm). The threads measure M4.2 x 1.41. These would use https://www.quadratec.com/p/mopar/tail-lamp-screw-wrangler-jk-06511141aa
Does this fit the tail light mounting hardware on the jk?
Yes, this fits both the tail light and the license plate bracket on the JK.
