Description
If you have removed your Wrangler JK original bumper and air dam skid plate to install a new bumper, Crown Automotive offers a Front Skid Plate to restore protection to the steering components. This skid plate is made from 3/16" plate steel and features a semi-gloss black powder coat. Mounting up to locations on the frame without drilling or interference, kit includes new hardware for making install a breeze. Designed for use with aftermarket bumpers

    I installed a JL plastic bumper onto my 2017 JK, will this front skid plate fit ?
    No, the Crown Automotive RT20043 Front Skid Plate is specifically designed to work with standard JK factory setups or aftermarket bumpers, and it will not line up or mount correctly with a JL plastic bumper swapped onto a JK.
    Would this work with the Rough Country SKU: 10596 Front Winch Bumper?
    While not officially tested, the skid plate should be compatible for their design is intended for use with aftermarket bumpers. Thanks for your inquiry.
